We're having a Baby!!

Great news!  We're having a baby!

We found out on October 24!  The morning I found out I was pregnant, Parker left early to go to a men's bible study.  Even though I wasn't supposed to start my period until the next day, I took a pregnancy test on a whim.  It immediately showed that I was pregnant and I was ecstatic.  I kept it a secret from Parker all day.  After school, I rushed home to set up the "surprise."

I wrote "Welcome Home Daddy!" on our chalkboard and sat the pregnancy test on the table.  I greeted him at the door like usual and tilted my head to the chalkboard.

Even though we had been trying for the past 2 months, he was still surprised, but excited.  I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story...

We waited a week and then told our parents & Weston.  We went to the Morgans' so I could give Mrs. Lydia a "thank you gift" for helping me throw Amanda a wedding shower.  To her surprise, the gift was a bib that says "What happens at Grandma's, stays at Grandma's."  Both "Granddaddy Jack" & "Grandma Lydia" are ecstatic!  We gave Weston a (very) belated birthday gift that had a bib that says "If you think I'm cute, you should see my uncle."  His response?  "Are you pregnant or something?"  When we said yes, Weston was excited, but my dad... my dad was thrilled.  He immediately teared up and hugged me.  I've never seen him speechless before, but he is tickled to death!  We slowly told our friends and family and had our first doctor's appointment on November 14 and heard the heart and had our first ultrasound pictures taken!  We can't wait to meet our bundle of joy in June!
