How far? Week 20 - Are we seriously half way through already?? It's going by SO fast!
What's baby up to? Our sweet little Ava Kate is about 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and 10 inches from head to toe! It's hard to believe she's about the size of a banana! She weighs about 10 1/2 ounces. She is kicking and squirming all around and I love it!
Weight gain? I don't know how much, but the way my belly is growing coupled with the way I've been eating, I'm confident that I've put on some weight since my last appointment! We will find out at my next appointment (Monday, February 17)!
Maternity clothes? I'm still wearing the belly band occasionally, but mostly I've moved into maternity pants and skirts. I have worn a few regular size dresses and they are fitting okay at this point. For my birthday, Parker took me maternity clothes shopping and I got a few gift cards from family so I'll be using those soon... regular clothes are slowly becoming a thing of the past!
Symptoms? Middle of the night leg cramps but other than that, just a growing belly bump!
Sleep? Pretty good!
Food cravings? Ranch is good :)
Food aversions? Not really
Miss anything? Hot bath
I'm feeling... extremely happy, thankful, & blessed!
Best moment of the week? People are starting to notice my belly bump more and more... even people who didn't know I was pregnant. I'm also loving Ava Kate's kicks and squirms! It's so tempting to sit and just feel her move and not get up and do anything else. Oh and one more thing! We bought the fabric for the crib bedding this week! I couldn't find any bedding I really loved, so I will be making it! I might start this week if we get another snow day! Ok, I had to come back and add another moment - Emily & her mom, Katherine, sent Ava Kate her first gift (a little hat) that has her name embroidered on it! It is so precious and I might have teared up a little! :)
Looking forward to... Making progress on the nursery & our "to-do-before-Ava-Kate-arrives" list... AND getting to snuggle our sweet little girl!
