Clothes & Diapers: We transitioned to Size 1 diapers at the beginning of August and they are still fitting her well. She has outgrown some newborn clothes, but she can still wear most of them. She wears either newborn or 0-3 month clothes... although I did put her in 3-6 month old PJs the other night and a couple of her summer-looking 3-6 month outfits and they fit her fine... even if they are a bit big, I don't want these cute summer outfits to go unworn!!
Eating & Sleeping: She transitioned to eating every 3.5 hours and eats on both sides for 15 minutes each. If she is having a bottle, she eats between 4 and 4.5 oz. She's sleeping well still. At first, she was going down for the night after her 10:30 feeding, waking around 3:30 am, and starting the day at 6:30 am. The last week or so, however, she's gone down after 10:30 pm feeding and slept until 6/6:30 am! Woot woot! During the day she takes 1.5-2 hour naps between feedings.
Mood: Pretty content most of the time! She has fussy periods if she gets off schedule, but she's not a bad baby at all!
Likes: DADDY! This girl seriously loves her Daddy! She smiles if she hears his voice, when he plays with her, when I talk about him... She is smitten! She also loves snuggling with us, going outside, swinging in her (indoor) swing, bath time, and playing in her jungle gym.
Dislikes: Hmm... that's a hard one. She still doesn't tolerate cow's milk.
Milestones: First trip to Mommy's school (August 11), first day with a babysitter (Aunt Manda kept her on August 8), first night in her crib (August 24), first & second birthday parties (Avery's on August 8 and Aliza's on August 24), Baby Dedication (August 17), slept through the night (August 30), first real laughing (September 2)
Sentimental Things Mommy Wants to Remember: Every bit of maternity leave... the snuggles, the play time, the sweet smiles and coos, ahhh! I don't want it to end! Can we just freeze time? She's starting to outgrow some of my favorite outfits (the blue anchor dress, the hippo onesie, the monogrammed onesies) and it just breaks my heart! I also adore the way she loves her daddy and how he plays with her and she just smiles and smiles!
Practical Things Mommy Wants to Remember: For pumping, adding an "extra feed" at 8 am gets me just as much (5-6 oz) if not more milk than pumping immediately after 3 feedings, so I started doing that. I currently have 94 oz in the freezer and add 4-8 each day.
