Three Months!

Weight & Height: 14 lbs according to the Morgan's scale

Clothes & Diapers: Ava Kate is wearing size 1 diapers and they are still fitting fine.  She very rarely wears a newborn outfit and has spent most of the month wearing 0-3 month outfits.  I did transition her to some 3-6 month outfits that were summer clothes so she could get some wear out of them before it got too cool.  We've had a couple cool days lately, so she's worn some long sleeve 3-6 month outfits this week.

Eating & Sleeping: She is sleeping like a champ!  Praise!  At the beginning of the month she was eating every 3.5 hours on both sides for 15 minutes each or taking a 4.5 oz bottle.  About half way through the month we merged her last 2 feedings so she'll eat at 9:30 and go down for the night.  I wake her up at 6:30 am to feed her and start her day.  After talking with her babysitter, we upped her bottles to 5 oz this past week and she's doing great!  She sleeps through the night (10 pm - 6:30 am) every night now and would probably sleep longer, but I have to wake her up in the mornings to nurse her and get her to daycare before I head to work.  She still takes a 1.5 - 2.5 hour nap between most feedings.

Mood:  She has become such a chatty little baby!  Full of coos, smiles, and giggles!  :)

Likes: She still dotes on her daddy!  She loves bath time, playing, and talking.  She is quite content in the mornings and talks all the way to the babysitter's.  She enjoys going for walks, watching her new friend at the babysitter's, snuggling with mommy/daddy, and of course, eating! :)

Dislikes: Getting out of the bath tub... lol.  Also, still no cow's milk for mommy.

Milestones:  2 month old shots (Sept 4), First day at the babysitter's (Sept 8), First 8.5 hour sleep stretch (Sept 17), First family reunion (Sept 20), found her thumb & I didn't write down the date! :(

Sentimental Things Mommy Wants to Remember: After work giggles and smiles when I picked Ava Kate up... sleepy snuggles before bed... shy little laugh when we tickle her... ahhh I LOVE BEING A MOM! :)

Practical Things Mommy Wants to Remember: Going back to work sucks.  I do not want to go back to work whenever we have baby #2.  At work, I pump at 8 am (5-6 oz), noon (5-6 oz), and 1:45 (2-3 oz)... the last 2 are during my planning period.  I currently have about 150-160 oz in the freezer... which sounds like a lot, but it'd only last a week.
