the Morgan's: Year in Review

I love the beginning of a new year. It's a time to start fresh, to grow, to change... and to look back and reflect. In past years, I've done a "Year Recap" and I really love looking back at photos and events from throughout the year. This year we've taken a TON of pictures (I'm sure you can understand why), so this post might take five years to load, but oh well.

January
- Snow, snow, and more snow
- We found out that baby was a girl!
- Parker felt Ava Kate move for the first time

February
- My mock trial teams competed again at regionals
- Went to Myrtle Beach for the annual FCA Carolina conference
- Went to the Carolina-Duke game... and Carolina won! :)
- I presented at the NC Social Studies Conference on Spinning the Classroom

March
- I presented at the NCTIES Conference on Spinning the Classroom
- Registered for baby gifts
- Sat with Bobby Bowden at the FCA banquet

April

- We started our first garden
- Spring Cleaning over Easter break!

May
- We finished up the nursery
- We had maternity pictures taken
- We invited my family over to celebrate dad's birthday
- We went to the river for Memorial Day weekend

June
- I saw my first set of students graduate from SCHS
- I wrapped up my 3rd year teaching and prepared for Ava Kate's arrival
- Parker & I celebrated 3 years of marriage

July
- Ava Kate was born during Hurricane Arthur
- Weston turned 16!

August
- Ava Kate started smiling and laughing, slept through the night for the first time, had her first bottle, and took her first bath in the bathtub
- Baby dedication
- Parker & I celebrate 11 years of dating

September
- Ava Kate started sleeping through the night consistently
- I went back to work and Ava Kate started going to the babysitter's
- We found out Candice is having a baby!
