Say it isn't so!

Hey people!  Ava Kate here.  Is Spring Break already over?  Say it isn't so!  Man, it's been a fun week!  Let me just tell you... we should have Spring Break more often, don't-ya think?  Of course you do!

People, I've had so much fun with my mommy this week!  We have played and played and played... and of course, she had to snuggle me some, but I said, "Enough mom!  Let's go outside and play some more!"

We started off the week by going to Daddy & Uncle Weston's game and cheering them on.  I waved to just about everyone and ate a whole bunch of cheerios.  Plus, I got to stay up past my bedtime... Mommy said it was only because it wasn't a school night.

On Tuesday, Mommy had a dentist appointment and I got to hang out at Daddy's work for a little while.  Of course Grandma Lyly and Granddaddy Jack loved that!  I loved it too.  Then, Mommy picked me up and took me to my 9 month appointment.  Here I am waiting for the doctor.  Don't-ya like how my outfit matches my bag?  It is fab-u-lous!

On Wednesday, Grandma Margie came home from the hospital.  She had half of a lung removed because she had a cancerous tumor.  :(  She's a tough cookie and is doing alright!  She'll have to have chemo, which Mommy says stinks big time.  I made Grandma a get well card to cheer her up, see?

We played outside and blew bubbles.  Uncle Weston came over to play too!

 

I liked playing with Uncle Weston's hat.  He thinks I look good in camo, whatever that is.

 

Mommy's friend Ms. Victoria came over and brought my bestie Nora.  Nora's brothers came too and I loved playing with them.  They were a hoot!

 

We didn't play outside all week though, we did play in my room some.  When we did, Mommy pulled the blinds up so I could see out.  Man, I can't wait for summer!

 

Clearly, Mommy took this picture without my permission.  She said that she doesn't get to snuggle me nearly enough and she just wants to remember every minute of it... Yadda, yadda, yadda.  I must admit, I do kind of like snuggling up with her in the mornings.

 

It wouldn't've been spring break without some spring cleaning... since my Mommy wasn't doing any spring cleaning, I took it upon myself to clean out the kitchen cabinet.

 

Oh golly, I almost forgot to tell you about my new birdie friend.  Did you know birdies say "tweet tweet."  That's what my Mommy keeps saying over and over again.  Anyways, this is my new friend who is nesting on our porch.  I like going to the window and watching him.

 

Did I mention I'm ready for summer?  Ms. Tammy got me this new bathing suit and I love it.  I think I look fabulous!  Don't you?

And last but not least, Mommy said we had to do some fun-decational activities (as Uncle Weston calls them)... so we played with our letters and sorted them by colors.  Daddy keeps saying that I'm so advanced... I don't know what he's talking about, clearly Mommy sorted them and I just dumped them out for her.
