A girl in her blue smocked dress

Ava Kate has this dress.  It's the cutest dress you've ever seen.  Light blue.  Smocked.  Perfect fit.  Be still my heart.

Of course, she is far too busy to sit still for a picture as evident by the blurs below.

Well, unless she wants to pose for a funny face picture with her daddy.  Then, of course, she'll sit as still as a statue.

Or you know, if she's just over it all.  Unimpressed I tell you, unimpressed.

But, then she was back to moving!  Busy little bee.

So, we went to church.  Then, we went to lunch with Dad & Weston.  Then we went back to church... while I was in one meeting, she played on the playground with Parker... then Parker went to another meeting, and AK & I ran over to the Lil' Pirates Exchange consignment sale.

Let me tell you, shopping will wear a girl out!  There may or may not have been slobber involved during that nap...  But look at those cheeks!

As for my favorite snapshot of the day???  Ava Kate's first swing swinging on the playground.  So precious.

I love that dress and I love that girl.
